  3. Adjuncts could incorporate authors' works into their classes (for disciplines such as literature, history, sociology, culture, etc...); they could do author interviews (or ask for author classroom visit); they could develop a project on selection/edit/layout of literary magazine materials; they could work on Connections public relations/community outreach, fundraising, etc...

  7. Wanted: Level II adjunct to help out with a ENG 2050-Business & Tech. Writing project. My plan is to split the course into two separate courses: Business Writing (3 credits) and Technical Writing (3 credits). If you're interested in researching similar courses at 2- and 4-year colleges, and developing a course description, along with a proposed syllabus for each, then let's talk.

  8. We could really use someone to help us revise the Adjunct Certification Program website and touch base with faculty requesting information about the program while we are a little short-handed this semester. This would be a great Keynote Project that would take about 15 hours of work.

  9. Looking for an adjunct faculty member at certification level II who teaches MTH 0800 and/or MTH 0900. The project involves developing several reviews and assessments using the HLS WebTest feature. TRAINING IS AVAILABLE. This project would work well as a keynote project for level III certification, and could be adapted to serve as more than one faculty member's project.
This project could also be adapted for faculty looking for service and professional development to maintain certification level.

  10. Janice,
I would be interested in this. Both because I need a Keynote Project, and I would like to "settle" into MTH 0900 as my mostly permanent adjunct teaching assigment (is that possible?).
